What time should I check-in before my flight departs?

There are different check-in times for both international and domestic flights.  For international flights, passengers should check-in approximately three hours prior to their flight departure time. For domestic flights, passengers should check-in approximately 45 minutes prior to their flight departure time. Please check with the airline you are travelling with for more specific check in requirements. If you let Perth Chauffeur Hire know your flight time then we can advise on the best time to be picked up.

How much can my luggage weigh?

For information on check-in baggage allowances, please contact the airline you are flying with direct as each airline has their own baggage allowances.

What time do the airline lounges open?

Airline lounges at Terminal 1 (International Terminal) open approximately 2 hours prior to departure. For airline lounge information, please view or contact the airline you are travelling with directly.

Terminal Facilities

What are the opening hours of the terminals at Perth Airport?

- Terminal 1 (International) is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Terminal 3 (Domestic Terminal) is open between the hours of 0330 and 0100, Monday – Sunday.
- Terminal 4 (Qantas Domestic Terminal) is open between the hours of 0400 and 0030 each day, except Friday and Sunday, when the terminal closes at 0230.

Are there any facilities where I can store my luggage at Perth Airport?

Yes, luggage lockers are provided by Smarte Carte and are located outside Terminal 1 (International) and at the Domestic Terminals, located opposite the Qantas Domestic Terminal 4 and Domestic Terminal 3.

Is there internet or wireless access available at Perth Airport?

Yes, several free internet booths are located at various points throughout the terminals.  Wireless internet access is also available in the departures lounge in Terminal 1 (International) and throughout Terminal 3 (Domestic Terminal 3).

What is the Tourist Refund Scheme and how do I claim a refund?

Is there a lost property service at Perth Airport?

Yes, there is a lost property service at Perth Airport for items lost within Terminal 1 (International Terminal) , Terminal 2 and Terminal 3.  A lost property service also exists for items lost within Lost PropertyTerminal 4 (Qantas Domestic).
